Microsoft announced its annual Partner of the Year awards recipients for 2017. We’re excited to be part of the distinguished partner list being named a Finalist for the 2017 Microsoft Public Sector – Health Award. SADA was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.
“We’re honored to be recognized by Microsoft for our work helping companies in the healthcare industry realize the tremendous value of Microsoft cloud technologies,” says Tony Safoian, President and CEO at SADA Systems. “In particular, we are proud of our work with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles implementing Microsoft’s cloud-based Skype for Business platform to connect healthcare providers in remote parts of the world to renowned surgeons such as Dr. Thomas C. Lee of The Vision Center to help save children’s . Cloud technologies truly have the power to improve people’s lives, and we’re thrilled to have a hand in making this possible.”
Working closely with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Medical Group, SADA Systems guided the selection and deployment of Microsoft’s cloud collaboration and communication platform, Skype for Business Online, to help bridge the 7,000-mile gap between Los Angeles and Armenia to help empower care teams. Using Skype for Business Online and Polycom videoconferencing devices, Dr. Thomas Lee can view the actual surgery in real time and communicate face to face with the surgical teams in Armenia. This integration has allowed Dr. Lee to remotely trained surgeons in Armenia and observed surgeries in real-time from his office in California. The retina scan images and related diagnoses hosted by OneDrive for Business make it possible for doctors to collaborate and reference past surgeries as needed.
