SADA Systems Re-defines Employee Appreciation: Retaining Top Talent Done Right!

Employee appreciation – coffee machines that compete with the best baristas in town, endless amounts of food, ping pong tables, unlimited PTO, yoga breaks and mini fridges stocked with beer. I could be describing a great vacation, but this is becoming the gold standard of offices across the country.

The work-life balance revolution, which we can primarily thank the tech industry for, has changed the idea of usual and customary at the workplace.  As a leader in the tech scene, we at SADA Systems work to be the catalyst for change- pushing to make each day at the office better than the last.

At SADA Systems’ annual All Hands in January, our executives launched the theme of this year’s goal: The People! Working in People Operations department at SADA Systems, we are constantly looking for ways to go above and beyond to show our employees that we are their biggest advocates. We know our People give us the edge at SADA Systems and that is one great reason to show our appreciation.

Our top recruiting team brings the best talent to SADA, so we aim to keep our rockstars happy.  We don’t stop at unlimited snacks, catered lunch, breakfast, fresh juices, endless espresso or riveting ping pong tournaments. We have monthly happy hours on top of our monthly socials celebrating anything from marriages to first homes.  Our mix of talent, benefits and daily life are the driving force behind our success and why we were listed as one of the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles as well as the INC Magazine’s Top 50 Workplaces nationwide.

According to a study by Future Workplace and Kronos, 87% of employers are aware that retaining employees is a key priority for their company.  But how do you actually do this?  Think outside the box!  You cannot apply an outdated approach and expect a fresh result.  At SADA, we strive to stay innovative and exceed our employees’ expectations.  While the rest of the nation celebrates employees on March 3rd, we know it’s vital to our company’s success to appreciate our employees EVERY DAY.   Don’t get me wrong, we still pulled out all of the stops for Employee Appreciation Day!

In addition to the usual Omelet Bar on Fridays, our chefs added a crepe station to celebrate the still widely unknown but growing national holiday centered around employees!  Following a breakfast that ranked with the best Sunday brunches, instructors came in and taught onsite yoga classes.  The yogis customized quick stretch routines that focused on sedentary workers’ biggest problems- necks, shoulders, wrists, and hips.  The main event- onsite massage therapists.  The only complaint was the session ending!  A treat station at the end of the day concluded the festivities with candy, beer and wine.
