Microsoft Inspire 2018 Recap: SADA Delivers on Microsoft’s Vision for Intelligent Communications

SADA Systems headed to Las Vegas earlier this week for Microsoft Inspire 2018, Microsoft’s largest partner conference, hosting approximately 17,000 attendees from over 130 countries. As an award-winning Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider, SADA was extremely proud to showcase the innovative solutions we’ve implemented for our clients, and excited to learn about Microsoft’s new technology and offerings designed to modernize the workplace and drive our customers’ success. True to its name, this year’s conference was nothing short of inspiring.

Day 1 – SADA Awarded for Driving Success with Intelligent Communications

The first day of Inspire kicked off with keynote presentations by Gavriella Schuster, Microsoft Corporate Vice President, Commercial Partner Channels & Programs, and Judson Althoff, Microsoft Executive Vice President, Worldwide Commercial Business. The two discussed digital transformation and the astounding double-digit growth in the area of cloud services.

Amid the hundreds of partners at Inspire, SADA was recognized as one of a select few to receive a Microsoft Partner of the Year Award (2018 Microsoft Partner of the Year for Modern Workplace – Intelligent Communications). The award was given based on SADA’s proven expertise in delivering transformative communication solutions based on Microsoft technology, including Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business.

To add to an already eventful day, SADA’s Vice President of Marketing, Narine Galstian, spoke on the “Delivering on Microsoft’s Visions for Intelligent Communications” panel where she was honored to share some of our most influential and transformative projects.  She emphasized the importance of understanding the vertical needs of customers and developing customized IT solutions to help further collaboration and content sharing.

Day 2 – New and Transformational Tools to Modernize the Workplace

On the second day of Inspire, we heard Jason Zander, Executive Vice President of the Microsoft Azure Team in the Cloud and AI Group, and Ron Markezich, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft 365, speak on new initiatives highlighting the value in modernization. Some of the exciting announcements included the release of a free version of Microsoft Teams, new tools that will add value to businesses by helping them leverage AI and IoT in their apps, and investments that will expand Azure’s global network infrastructure.

SADA is thrilled with Microsoft’s introduction of even more innovative tools that can be used to empower our customers and help them thrive in the digital age. We are eager to see how we can use these new tools and services to further our commitment to transforming the workplace through modernization.

As a 2018 Partner of the Year Award Winner, we received a highly sought-after invitation to the Microsoft Inspire VIP Experience where we capped off our day.

Day 3 – Gearing Up for the Future

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella gave an impactful keynote address on day 3 of Inspire that delved into Microsoft’s mission to empower people and organizations to achieve more using the power of the Microsoft Intelligent Cloud and Microsoft Intelligent Edge, while also ensuring privacy, security, and compliance.

Nadella perfectly summed up one of SADA’s core values, “Be a Change Agent”, when he stated, “We’ve got to measure ourselves not by technology for technology’s sake, but how are we empowering people? How are we helping organizations with their digital transformational outcome? That’s what this is all about.”

After this invigorating kickoff to Microsoft’s FY19, SADA is looking forward to addressing our customers’ modern workplace and security challenges with new tools and services, contributing to the digital landscape as a whole, and using technology to empower businesses, organizations and people like never before.
