SADA Systems Completes Record Fiscal Year in Microsoft Practice Group

SADA Systems, global leaders in providing cloud transformation consulting and strategic IT solutions, is happy to announce significant growth in our Microsoft practice group for the fiscal year 2016, which ended June 30. Our passion for connecting customers to cloud solutions to fit their needs resulted in a revenue increase of 74% year-over-year, while the number of Microsoft cloud product users across our customer base grew to 7.7 million. We will be showcasing our Microsoft customer success and public cloud expertise at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference this week in Toronto, Canada.

Gartner recently proclaimed 2020 as the year public cloud would become the “default option” for companies. Over the past year, our customers have significantly expanded their use of Microsoft public cloud services including Office 365, Azure, Skype for Business and Dynamics CRM. To keep up with this demand, we’re making a multi-million dollar commitment to grow the size and scope of our Microsoft practice group. (Want to help? Check out our Careers page here.) We’re aiming to grow headcount by 50% in the group over the next year, and will be launching a series of new services aligned with Microsoft’s enterprise focus. As a premier Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP), we not only provide licensing options for Microsoft solutions—we deliver value-added services, including deployment, migration, software customizations or custom apps, support, ongoing maintenance, and training. The fact that we were recently selected by Microsoft to join its IoT Red Carpet Program and named a finalist in the 2016 Microsoft Partner of the Year – Cloud Productivity Award category has been very exciting as well.

As our CEO, Tony Safoian, highlighted in a recent CRN magazine article however—we’re not focused on cloud computing for the sake of cloud computing—we’re focused on finding ways to deliver more strategic processing to our customers. “We talk to our clients about moving the needle, not moving to the cloud,” he explains.

We’ve been a Microsoft National Solutions Provider since 2013 and hold Gold competencies in Cloud Platform, Cloud Productivity and multiple other categories, recently adding four Gold and two Silver competencies, including Cloud Customer Relationship Management and Communications. Winner of 2015 Microsoft Partner of the Year for Cloud Productivity category, we have a proven track record in providing consultative cloud services and implementation of Microsoft Office 365. Our unique understanding of hybrid environments has helped hundreds of organizations worldwide use Microsoft cloud solutions to thrive in their industries. United Talent Agency, Boingo Wireless, Coffee Bean, Medical Solutions, Xirrus, and Quantcast are just a few of the notable SADA customers using Microsoft public cloud services.

“What we were really striving for was that the migration would be a non-event, and that’s exactly what happened,” explains Scott Huckleberry, CIO at St. John Knits, about working with SADA on its cloud transformation. “SADA helped us comprehensively assess our situation prior to the migration and gave us sound guidance throughout the implementation.” You can read a case study about St. John Knits’ Office 365 implementation here.

“SADA guided key members of our organization through the process of identifying business challenges, collaborating on ways to use technology to advance, and distinguishing what success looks like in our organization,” says Megan Harter, PMO Manager, Young’s Market Company. “We walked away with a solid plan of how we could use technology to solve some of our pressing problems, a clear path on how to get there, and a vision of improved collaboration and productivity. Overall, we are proud of our decision to partner with them.”

“Today, both IT and business executives are now looking beyond just cost savings of migrating to the cloud,” Safoian continues. “From real-time analytics to customer-facing mobile apps and Internet of Things initiatives, the cloud is enabling exciting, revenue-driving opportunities for companies. Our expertise in Microsoft platforms and cloud infrastructure is helping customers drive strategic business decisions with confidence.”
