New Service: Infrastructure Migration to Microsoft Azure

The SADA Systems team is thrilled to announce the availability of a new service: Infrastructure Migration to Microsoft Azure!  Infrastructure Migration to Azure is a consultative service consisting of 3 phases, that allows organizations to leverage Microsoft Azure to cut the cost and time associated with infrastructure maintenance and upkeep.

We’re extending our Microsoft Azure services portfolio, currently consisting of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) in Azure, with our latest offering, Infrastructure Migration to Azure. Infrastructure Migration to Azure gives organizations the ability to consolidate their data center leveraging Azure’s Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) capabilities. As part of the service, SADA Systems will complete a systems and network analysis in order to identify the best areas for migration to Azure, as well as provide services to manage the client’s Azure cloud environment.

Services Breakdown

  1. Discover
The first phase of Infrastructure Migration to Azure is Discover, where SADA Systems will gather information from the client’s environment to assess which virtual and physical machines are an appropriate fit to migrate to Azure. This phase includes analysis of bandwidth requirements, existing applications and/or requirements for system viability in Azure, as well as determination of memory, storage and CPU utilization required.

  2. Plan
The second phase is Plan, where SADA Systems will architect a plan to move the specified systems to Microsoft Azure. This includes determination of the client’s current infrastructure cloud-fit, costs, as well as the design and architecture of the future Azure solution.

  3. Build & Migrate
The final phase is Build & Migrate, where SADA Systems will fulfill the Plan – this phase includes building a Microsoft Azure tenancy and migrating the infrastructure in place to Azure. SADA Systems also provides technical training services, to ensure the client is able to understand how to leverage the new Azure environment independently – alternatively, SADA Systems is able to provide ongoing cloud maintenance and support.

Infrastructure Migration to Azure services are ideal for organizations looking to leverage Azure’s scalable, pay-as-you-go levels of processing power for applications architected for elastic scale.

Taken from a press release:“Infrastructure Migration to Azure helps organizations modernize and streamline their infrastructure by moving key processes to the cloud,” said Russel Buetow, National Director of Sales – Microsoft Practice, SADA Systems. “SADA Systems is investing in Azure because we have recognized its robust set of capabilities, which allows organizations continuity of business function experience, whether their workload is on-premises or done in Azure. We understand that organizations can’t be forced to rewrite their applications to take advantage of the cloud, and they need to be able to run workloads when, where and how they need.”
